Throughout my life, fine art painted by family members has featured on the walls of home. Wherever we lived, when the ‘artwork went up’, we were home. When our children were young, they became my subjects for simple line drawings used in several Christian Education publications. During a different season of life, I pursued my dream to improve my skills and include colour in my work. I joined a Saturday morning class and appreciated our teacher who was both encouraging and exacting.
Now I am encouraged and surrounded by a community of artists at the Bunya Mountains and surrounds. The natural beauty of this place fills me with a deep sense of awe, wonder and mystery. I have been encouraged to enter and been successful at local Artists’ exhibitions.
